Spiced Banana Slice
INGREDIENTS
1 cup almond meal
1 cup shredded or desiccated coconut (I like using shredded because it’s chewier)
1/2 cup coconut sugar (I’d ran out so I used brown sugar)
3 Tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cardamom
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup (240g) mashed ripe bananas (about 3 bananas)
1 cup milk of your choice (I used almond)
1. Preheat oven to 180 and line a square brownie tin.
2. Place dry ingredients into a bowl and combine.
3. Add in banana and milk and set aside for 5 mins.
4. Pour mixture into brownie tin and bake for 40-50 mins or until golden. Allow to stand for 10 mins before taking out of tin and slicing. Store in a airtight container in the fridge.
