Blood Building Tonic

 

 
 
 
 

 
 
 

INGREDIENTS

1/2 small raw beetroot (high in iron)
1 carrot
1 cucumber
1/2 a peeled lemon (contains vitamin C which assists iron absorption)
1 thumb size piece of ginger (assists with iron absorption)
Handful of parsley form the garden (high in iron)
A few pieces of pineapple -especially the core (high in an enzyme called bromelain that assists with iron absorption and is especially good if you're an A blood type)

 

 
 

This makes about 300ml which I feel is plenty for a fresh juice then I top up this 500ml jar with filtered water. Excellent for building iron stores!
