Hot Choc Chia Pudding
INGREDIENTS
It only occurred to me a couple of winters ago that you can heat chia pudding on the stove in the cooler months
CHIA PUD: add 2 Tbsp chia seeds to a Tupperware container. Add 1 cup coconut milk from the tin or milk of your choice and 3/4 cup of water and mix well. You can add cinnamon and vanilla extract if you’re fancy. Pop the lid on and place in the fridge overnight. Give it a couple of stirs if you remember.
This will give you 3-4 serves and if you haven’t eaten it by the end of day four, throw the rest in a smoothie.
-Pour some chia pud into a small saucepan. I stirred through some Botanika Blends cacao mushroom powder. You could add straight cacao powder with a little maple.
-Turn heat on stove to low and gently stir.
-Pour into a bowl and make it extra yummy with things like hemp seeds, 100% peanut butter and a banana.
IMMUNE TEA: add a tsp of organic rosehip granules with some fresh sliced ginger to a teapot or infuser and steep for 5 mins. Such a good vitamin C hit for your immunity and skin!
