Veggie Patties
I find lunches the trickiest meal to come up with. I always keep a pack of Yumi’s veggie burgers (near the tofu section of the supermarket) my fridge. They take about 5 minutes to heat up on the sandwich press while you throw together a quick salad like this one (baby spinach, carrot, cherry toms and sauerkraut).
Add extra protein to keep you fuller for longer and avoid the 3pm sweet cravings. Today I added hummus and hemp seeds. Other combo’s might be:
-cottage cheese with sunflower seeds
-avo with pepitas
-homemade satay sauce using peanut butter
-bacon and a poached/fried egg
