Spag Bol
Keep some of the bolognaise aside to have on toast for brekkie the next morning! A savoury brekkie =a steady flow of energy and brain power. Just what kiddos need in the classroom
INGREDIENTS
500g organic beef mince
2 shallots
2 celery stalks
2 carrots
1 corn cobs
1 zucchini, finely grated
1/2 sweet potato, finely grated
4 mushies, finely grated
1 rounded tsp beef liver powder (Gel Pro brand)
1 Tbsp mustard
1 bottle organic tomato passata
Handful parsley out the garden
1 Tbsp dried Italian herbs
1/2 cup frozen homemade stock
Pink salt and cracked pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
My trick is to finely grate the veg Eadie doesn’t love and to half refill the passata bottle with water so there’s lots of liquid in there and let it simmer low and slow so everything cooks in together.
My fave gf pasta is the San Remo brand.
