INGREDIENTS

-carrots
-cherry toms
-baby cucumbers
-raw nuts
-steamed corn
-baby gherkins
-red capsicum
-celery
-hommus in the middle

 

 
 

We are setting an example for our kids in everything we do: our words, our self-care, our relationships with others and the way we eat.

This is a picture of mine and Eadie's "snack plate" that we will share for lunch. This teaches her that:
-Mummy and Eadie eat the same foods
-that it's important to eat a rainbow
-to try new things
-that lunches don't need to revolve around bread/sandwiches

She didn't like the celery so we made a compromise that she'd eat more of the capsicum because "capsicum makes you run fast."
