Choc Gummies
INGREDIENTS
1 cup coconut cream or milk from the tin. You can also use the milk of your choice.
2 Tbsp Nutra Organics gelatin powder
1 Tbsp cacao powder
1 Tbsp maple syrup
INSTRUCTIONS
Place gelatin and coconut cream in a small saucepan. Mix well then allow to sit for five mins.
Place saucepan on the stove at a low heat and gently stir for a minute. This melts the gelatin so it’s not gritty. Don’t allow it to simmer.
Remove from heat and stir in cacao and maple. I actually used one of those hand held whizz sticks.
Place your silicon ice cube moulds or mini muffin tray on a chopping board so that it’s easier to transfer to the fridge. Pour in mixture and transfer allow to set in the fridge for half an hour.
Store in an airtight container and if you want the gummies to be softer, leave them on the bench for 15 mins before eating
I added a few drops of peppermint essence to a batch last week to make choc mint gummies and they were sensational!
