521. Top 5 Things I love this week:
1. Finding Empire Records on Netflix! It might actually be my favourite movie of all time...
2. Arnott's Shapes gf chicken crimpies.
3. Eadie walking home by herself now. I love witnessing these new chapters of independence and the way it shifts dynamics for us as a family.
4. Reading Blueback by Tim Winton together each night. We've both been having ocean dreams this week! There were whales in Eadie's dreams one night and seals in mine the next!
5. Going for a walk on the jetty after a big week (month, couple of months...) of clinic.

PS. It would have been easier to not go walking because I was feeling tired. But I went anyway because I knew it would be the last little bit of sunshine for a few days. Even though the actual jetty only takes a few minutes to walk, it probably took me at least twenty minutes each way because I kept stopping every ten metres to just stop, soak it all in and just pay attention to everything. I sat on the end for a while and ate some dried mango and just decompressed.
It felt like a hug to my nervous system. Like topping up a bank account.
